Six steps from blank to sendable

1. Open it

Open the invoice workspace. An empty workspace starts with a blank invoice. If you already have documents, your work is preserved; choose Invoice → New invoice to begin another one. Ordinary editing needs no account or installation.

2. Your business

Name, address, phone, SSM number, SST number if you are registered, and a logo if you have one. Saved once, reused on every future document.

3. Your customer

Pick a saved customer or add a new one. Confirm the billing name, address and purchase-order reference with your customer so the invoice can be matched to the agreed work.

4. Line items

Two ways in:

• Saved products for things you sell repeatedly — description, unit and price fill themselves in
• Custom lines for one-off charges like delivery or extra labour, with nothing saved to your library

5. Tax, discount, shipping, deposit

Enter the tax rate you actually charge, any overall discount, and delivery cost. Each prints on its own line rather than being folded into the unit price.

If a deposit was paid, enter it in the Paid field. Balance due is calculated and printed, so nobody pays twice and nobody assumes it is settled.

6. Template, preview, send

Open Template, choose a layout and colour, and apply it. There are 11 templates and 8 palettes; Classic is free, while premium templates use a trial allowance or Pro. On a computer, switch the preview to PDF to check the actual output; mobile Preview already shows the PDF. Download the file, print it or use Share. WhatsApp sharing depends on the browser; when it downloads a PDF instead, attach that file to your message.

The second invoice is where the time is saved

Reuse your saved business, customers and products for the next invoice. Automatic numbering advances for new documents; if you enter a custom number, check it against your existing records before exporting.

Common questions

Is it actually free?

Yes. The free plan has no time limit and no ads, and there is no cap on how many invoices, quotations, receipts and credit notes you create. Your first 3 exports each month have no footer; after that you can keep exporting, with a small “Created with InvoisLaju” line at the bottom of the PDF. You are never locked out. Pro costs RM19.99 a month, RM129.99 a year or RM269.99 once. It removes the footer and adds all 11 templates, unlimited signatures and Google Drive backup in the Android app. Compare Free and Pro.

Does it submit to LHDN / MyInvois?

No. InvoisLaju creates ordinary invoice, quotation, receipt and credit-note documents. A generated PDF is not a MyInvois submission or LHDN validation.

Where is my data stored?

Your working documents are saved in this browser. Ordinary editing can start without an account; Web history requires Google sign-in. Optional Google Drive backup and restore needs separate authorization. Browser and Android workspaces keep separate working copies.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Preview on a phone shows the real PDF with Share, Download PNG and Print.

Can I issue quotations and receipts?

Yes — invoices, quotations, receipts and credit notes all live in the same workspace, and a quotation converts to an invoice without retyping.
